This looks phenomenal! Can't even imagine how much research and effort you have put into it. I will start on it tomorrow.

It was a labor of love and I enjoyed every minute of it. It’s a long one, but I think it's worth it 🫶🏼

Our family would sometimes go over to see the mosaics at the New Cathedral in St Louis.

The mosaics in Sant'Apollinare Nuovo provided spectacular narrative content! A famous discussion of art as the "Poor Man's Bible" dates to a later period. Pope Gregory the Great is credited with mentioning this in letters associated with his theory of images and, for additional reading, an accessible source on this topic can be found at: https://www.cambridge.org/core/services/aop-cambridge-core/content/view/3001E46FEE8D0D137964C899C0B494A8/S1062798722000345a.pdf/keeping_everyone_on_board_gregory_the_greats_theory_of_iconoclasm.pdf.

Now I am going to start breaking bottles again, just so I can get back to my glass work. Can’t wait to read more!
